1. I’m looking for a new lather bowl. Mine had an untimely demise on my wedding day and I have been stuck face lathering since. What websites do you recommend?

  3. The best and totally UNBREAKABLE is Pereira’s

You can find it at indiegogo by searching under bowl or by search the net
  4. Captain's Choice copper bowls are awesome.

  7. Don't forget the Thrift shop. I picked this one up for 2 bits. Old 70's salad bowl, hard plastic. I serrated the bottom and it works great. IMG_0342-COLLAGE.jpg

  8. Not yet mentioned, the suribachi bowl. Intended as a grinding tool to be used in the kitchen, this Asian device is traditionally a pottery bowl with a glazed outer surface & a grater like textured inner surface.

Compared to an Old Spice or coffee mug, the more open shape allows easier agitation while the textured surface helps integration of water, soap, & air.

Sizes vary depending on maker. I recommend 4-5" diameter that fits in the hand for an easy grip.

  10. It is, of course, up to @Dapper-in-a-can-man , but given the presence of a young son, unbreakable may be the way to go.

Don't forget the humble and cheap salsa bowl. If you can find one with the rough texture on the inside of the bowl you have a mean lathering machine.
  12. I just don’t enjoy it :p

  15. Nothing is unbreakable for a five year old.
Ceramic ones are fireproof though. :D
  16. Lots of options, PAA makes a couple of types that seem well made and inexpensive, you can try a dollar tree or dollar store for a stainless steel bowl for $1. Or go to a glass shop / blower and see if you can make your own like I did
