Last time I fully used this plate I had a little accident and dropped it against the edge of the sink and dented it slightly.
The next day I got a few strokes in, and noticed a significant roughness.
I contacted Shane (@Blackland Razors) who helpfully suggested a remedial process and I thought I'd sorted it but unfortunately the shave is not as smooth as it was and was very uncomfortable in areas.

 

Thank you. I have a New SC. Great Shaver! It is a little unsightly due to age. I've considered having it related, but am also thinking of a modern equivalent

Got a new soap from the BST on TSR (UK forum) - Reef Point Espresso. Love coffee so was excited about this one. Whipped up a lovely lather with my Omega boar. Great quality soap, although honestly, ones minor complaint - it's got a strong chocolate note and isn't strictly an espresso scent.

Also got the New Improved out. Such a mild, smooth shave with fantastic results. Honestly feels like you'd have to try hard to cut yourself with it. Just throw it around your face with reckless abandon. 2 passes, BBS, all good.

Paired with a Polsilver, and with Fine Accoutrements Platinum After Shave Lotion for the post shave feels, and all in all a very pleasant shave. Have a great weekend all

I used the Proraso white pre-shave cream today for the first time and really liked it! It was a gift from my daughter that also included the white shave cream tube and shave balm. A wonderful Christmas gift.

The British none triangle Tech is slightly more aggressive than the US triangle Tech version which surprises me a lot. Some wet shavers say the British Gillette razors are slightly more aggressive than most US Gillette razors, I'm unable to confirm or find the correct information on the world wide web.

 

You have darn near conquered that Bol en bois, Mark! I PIF'd mine after using about half of it.

No, oddly I have had after shaves from BULGARIA, Romania, Germany, Portugal , Greece, with no issues. UK wont ship ... so I been lucky
