Regilo. 13/16th Swedish Steel Solingen Germany Loved the silver bolsters, on both sides of the scales. The blade is solid, and is firm in the scales.
Griffon 60 Carbo-Magnetic Solid blade, and scales are in great shape. It does need re-pinning. I might swap out scales, and make a Frankenrazor, depending on how well it cleans up. An under $10 razor, but it should pretty up nicely.
Mappin & Webb. Royal Cutlery Works Sheffield This one tagged along with another I ordered. The scales look like they might be Ivory, but I wont know until Its cleaned up. Small, loose, rusty blade. I don't know much about this maker, or whether its worth the effort to restore.
Union Razor Cutlery Co. Extra Hollow Ground. Union City GA. Solid, well built razor, with little wear. Still very very sharp. Just needs a little TLC. Only cost $8.
I bought this some time ago. When it arrived the first time the horn scales had warped so I sent it back to Mike to fix the scales. On the return journey to me USPS decided to keep for a while in Chicago. It finally arrived home. It is a HUGE razor, 9/8 and near wedge. I like the hamon and big smile.
Union Razors from Georgia are Outstanding and delivery an Awesome Shave ,You will not be disappointed.
I'm itching to restore those two, to see what they look like, all shiny. I'm looking forward to trying it. American steel is some of the best in the world.
I got two razors in today, I saw @Keithmax got a Wacker Huntsman , since I did not have one I thought since there was a sale of them I should get one. Second razor is a French razor, Rasoir Sabre with the Snakewood scales. It is 6/8 razor. This is my first of this type of razor also. Looking forward to tonight's shave. Wacker Huntsman Grooming Dept Shaving Soap True Gentleman Preshave Oil John Varvatos Artesian Aftershave Balm Razorock F-400 Synthetic Brush Tonight's second shave was much better, not that the first shave was bad, much better control of the razor. I think it is a keeper! Enjoy your evening gentlemen! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. Little Valley NY #B52GL. ?H on the Tang. Extra Hollow Ground This one was sort of a mistake. The Photos weren't the best, and it was advertised as another razor, that I needed to match with some very nice scales. When It came in the mail, I contacted the seller, and noted the issue. Since this is a good, well made, and quality razor, I took the option of a partial refund. It cost me, with shipping, a total of $15.10. Well, this razor has almost no hone wear, and almost no bevel wear. It needs a little bit of restoration. On the scales, it is a little hard to see, but there is a Green Lizard embossed, with some of the Green pain still on it. I plan to try to restore this to the original look. If anyone has comments, or pics of this model, please chime in.
Hi everyone! I am so excited! I just received my brand new Ralf Aust 6/8 Spanish pt with black scales to compliment my Aust 6/8 Spanish pt with bocote scales. Now, I have 4 traditional straight razors in my shave den: Two Dovo's and 2 Aust's. I also have one Dovo shavette, one 1968 Gillette Slim Adjustable, a Rockwell 6C, a VDH cheapie adjustable and I am waiting for a preorder on a Rockwell model T. I think I have enough razor variations to keep me satisfied. Here is a photo of my new Aust Spanish point.
