I love the Proraso pre shave . Just started using it and results are good so far. Great shave Rick. Good to see the Luxor in action.

Try some preshave before the Williams Perry. Seems to build lather better and it stays longer. Omg i hope thats not considered molesting it btw.

hello fello shavers, lounging around and trying to catch up..monday night shave, sorry, went with the eveready tonight,not a badger, but it built an awesome tfs crazy sandalwood party..no prep just warm water.gsb blade in the brit tech,2 combination pass dfs, no drama..lovely scent on a cold night..fine santal absolut to finish..simple is good.. ,have a great evening, gary

A little late checking in but we had a good evening. My wife has wanted to see Aquaman so we went and saw it tonight on the big screen. Reclining seats, great surround sound, really a great time. Enjoyed the movie too. It helped that we started the evening at a little place called Hendrick's BBQ. A few of you may have heard of that!

Since an Excelia didn't magically appear today I moved on from the pain sticks for the time being and went with the Luxor Pro Shavette. @Bama Samurai had left it here for me to try way too many months ago and I had put it in my shaving box and it got forgotten. But, it's out and about now. I used the Derby blade. This shavette features a blade holder that eliminates the corner on the blade which makes it a bit easier to wield without worrying about a corner dig or other problem from it. JR46 and Jeeves for the fine lather and two passes later I was nicely DFS with just a bit of extra touch up. It took me an extra couple of minutes to get comfortable with a shavette like this in my hand again but I settle in without any real problems. Angle was easy to find and once I had that it was a done deal. Nice shave. These things really do work quite well.

One more day off tomorrow! I had planned a trip to see a man about a few razors but he had to postpone. So, instead, we're having our current mattress picked up and hauled off in preparation of the new one arriving Wednesday. Looks like tomorrow night is air mattress or cots. We'll see which wins out. Do you mean the scales? They are Micarta, no idea what that is. It I don’t think it is natural. The scales much better than my pic.

I do not think they even notice that is what happens. But it is true.

 

Nah. They schedule me for times when I'm on break from my Cartel responsibilities and duties. It's in my contract.

 

Check out this classy shave. @Joewa sent me a early 1900 Zinn/GEM. Beautiful razor. I started a thread about the shaves. I sent it home today so I got one last wedge blade shave in. This is true SE heaven.

 

I feel a copy cat shave coming...except the CC aftershave. I will use VIBR.
