Sorry that last evenings indulgences didn’t sit so well with you. At least you felt well enough to get a shave in. Smart play ditching the shavette for this shave. Know when to say when!

Toast progression of the day - 1 slice with a touch of honey. Then, a few hours later, two slices with light strawberry jam. Then, mid afternoon - two slices with light strawberry jam again. Notice the lack of said butter. Yeah, I love it but my mama didn't raise any stupid kids. Well, maybe one but it wasn't me.

 

I'm pretty sure the steroid load counteracts any extra sugar from cookies.

 

If you had a few different types of bread, you could do a “toast flight” ....it would sound all sorts of high falutin!

 

Sorry I missed this earlier, Rick. Yes, I’ve had a few Tcheon Fung Sing soaps. Besides the well-documented horrible labelling, the soap itself is fine, especially the lanolin formula (I have the Mastro Miche). I find it quite a bit better than the vegan one (Farinik) I had.

 

With a name like that , one would almost have to pair it with Hai Karate wouldn't one?

I'm not sure what kind of system you use for yours. I have a Kuerig as well as a pour over. I have only really seen the community coffee with Chickory available at the big grocers.
They are the only brand that I will drink .steeped in tradition from New Orleans, and have been doing it for a long long time.
They also have pure ground Chickory available as well if you want to add some to other brands you may like.

I say that it can take a bit of the "edge" or "bite" off of a strong coffee, or when done new orleans syle, with half cream/half milk it is cafe du Mont style. Very good stuff.

Yes it is. Shane McGowan from the Pogues has been deemed to be "soused" many times . Hope no one tries shaving while soused ..... then again in Russia .

 

hello fello shavers, felt like a vintage type shave tonight,so out came the#26 brit bathroom set,nacet blade loaded and ready to go..soaked the rubberset, wet the erasmic soap and went to town.
nice 3 pass dfs shave, no drama.the 2 piece handle feels a little lighter than the fat handle but shaved well. also doubles as a traveller..rr puros with a touch of english leather decanted together to finish..nice old school feeling shave..as much as i could imagine..have a great evening everyone, gary..
