    Colonial General UFO Colibri SS
    Schick Proline P30
Elite Razor Desert Ironwood Envy White Two Band
MDC Original "Le Bol En Bois"
Chatillon Lux Champs de Lavande Toner
    CRSW Lavish AS

Continuing my Focus on finishing the MDC Original Brain Bowl. It's been a long run! Incredible fast easy lather, thick and slick lavender goodness. The General was on Auto Pilot for two fast and efficient passes, with little left for cleanup. The baby is in the building. Lavender toner and aftershave and I'm ready to go.
Smooth, refreshed and smelling good today. Hope you all had a great shave today.

  7. Now that sounds like work! And I will have to look up the sonnet format again -- high school English was a looong time ago...

  8. A friend at work brought some straights and a Gillette Slim (L2) for me to look at that was his wife's grandfather. We were talking about razors yesterday. I told him that he needs to clean the Slim up, I would bring him some blades and and could use it. Long story short we kept talking and the more he got interested. I ending up taking the Slim home and will clean it up for him. I will also be putting a little "care" package together for him to try his hand at wet shaving. Once they try wet shaving they ain't no going back. I see a convert coming!

  11. It just like fishing...you have got to use the right bait. He already has a great razor to start with....an L2 Slim. I'll just have to build from there. :happy088:

Lawyer time. KS law allows you to seek punitive damages.

    You should hit 'em up.

  14. I suggest sending only one label of Blades. Make him master technique. All blades are terrible to newbies until....

  15. Chris, that is my thoughts as well. Would you recommend the Derbys or Voskhods? I was leaning toward the Derbys. I have a few Feathers but I know better.

  16. IMHO, blades don't matter near as much as people pretend they do, yet are often blamed for poor results.

That being said... Voskhod because of the Teflon coating. As far as lather, I honestly suggest Barbasol for newbies. It removes the soap skill variable and helps isolate the act of shaving while learning.
