That's a key feature to get me to try RegimentSoaps "Frosty".....lotsa Peppermint. I do need some cold-ish soaps for the summer.
You got a dud I guess. Mine definitely smells of frankincense. Not as strong as the aftershave, but it is there.
Great choice if you like citrus. I may have to take a day off from the straight soon so I can use mine. I'm nowhere near ready to try that with a frozen face yet.
Holy smokes, you ladies sure can gab! No time for a shave pic tho morning, but a few thoughts: 1. GD Ambra is a great soap with an awesome scent. The more I use GD, the harder it becomes to pick up other soaps. 2. Switched to my Slim on 8. I am flabbergasted at how much my technique has changed. After 2 passes there was literally no stubble to pick up in some areas on the third pass, with the blade silently skating across my face like it was on ice. Not a perfect shave, but awfully close. I have no idea why a few months with straights changes your DE game so much, but it does. 3. Chatillon Lux scents can be an acquired taste, but I am really digging the YRP scent now. You may now resume with your chit chat and knitting. I would have included macrame as well, but @jtspartan made it clear that our pot holders and plant hangers have apparently fallen out of style. I wonder how he hangs plants or removes things from the oven now.
Sorry to hear about this Adam. Those are definitely good things to put in a contract. If your gc is not paying the subcontractors and possibly materials supplier, you might want to get in touch with your state attorney generals office, I say this because you are most likely not the only one that this is being done to.
This is for all of the Italian products we shave with. My son shared this with me and I thought y'all would get a kick out of this. Italian time
Alright guys, the handle that came on this E-bay Simplex has me scratching my head I was hoping someone with more razor knowledge could figure this one out. After closer inspection and comparison I believe the handle to actually be a Gillette handle. I did notice that when I unscrewed the “Simplex” two piece handle that the male threads had what appeared to be red Loc-tite. Did the handle manufacturer ever intend for the handle to be unscrewed or had someone added a little Loc-tite after the razor was manufactured? I don't know. Does anyone know if Gillette has ever manufactured a travel tech extension like this? The link below is the only example of this type handle I have found on the web. It is item number 2 on the first post. https://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/post-your-cool-safety-razors.48550/ Razors left to right Simplex, Gillette travel tech K4,Gillette tech K1 Handles top to bottom Simplex, Gillette travel tech K4,Gillette tech K1
Going big on Friday Ok round 2 with this huge 9/8 full wedge razor. I touched it up on a Shapton glass 16k and the seems to have improved the shave. It was a little easier to handle this time but thing is a monster and it will take a couple more shaves to get it where I want it. The Oleo is giving me fits, sometimes it is wonderful and others days (today) not so wonderful.
