Well my last purchase for a little while of GEM razors, Man O man this took some serious cleaning. The previous owner must of used preshave oil and it stuck hard to the surface from over decades of use. It actually preserved the razor very well but being a little fussy I had to clean it up for my desired look of clean. The GEM Clog Pruf is the late 1946-47 Peerless variant model with the 17 nibs safety bar. Tomorrow 's will be 1st shave on this new(used) razor. Have some great GEM shaves!
You ordered 2 of the Rockwell t?[/QUOTE] No, I quoted another guy that got his, so I replied that I am waiting for mine and sarcastically said that I hope I get it by July 4th. Sorry for the confusion.
My new soaps finally arrived. I can hardly wait to try them. The SV smells like cologne. Is this right for felce aromatica? I have no baseline or expectations around what to expect from this scent, but my first sniff made me think of perfume or cologne. The reserve classic smells as expected and I am excited to try both the reserve formula for the 1st time and a SV triple milled soap for the 1st time
Picked up PAA Doppelganger Black soap and AS just prior to starting my NB19. It is some GOOD stuff!! Scent and performance are both excellent. Based off of Dior Sauvage, I'm really taking to the scent.
Just in are two vintage shave sticks I won on the TSD raffle. Don't know the brand, but I do intend to see if they work.
I just got these from Maggards. Both are 24mm. A fan shaped two-band badger and their brown (horse) synthetic.
