    Day 9.

    No news is good news. Same as yesterday. Two full passes with the straight, then finished with the micromatic. No blood, no hot spots.

    Congrats on breaking out the straight for today. Seems like it went fairly well, except for nicking your earlobe. It's awkward at first, to say the least - however, it does start getting a little easier each time around.

    Thank you, Bruce! It was much easier today for some reason. Like I said earlier, still not diving in or drinking the Kool Aid. Slow, glacial progress is okay with me in straight shaving.

    Gotcha beat though...$9.54 for two Fatboys, a Slim, two Schick injectors, a strop, and a Gillette Trac II. :p
    Pure luck...estate auction. Should've left after I won that bid. I ended up with nine straights for around $40 - mostly restoration projects. :angry032:

    Indeed, I do. The scent is mostly a "worn leather" scent. And, the soap performance is top-tier. Jim @jluc picked some up and used it recently. As I recall, he likes it as well.
