I completed two passes and decided I was ahead of the game and left it at that. I did not have any weepers or nicks. It was a close shave but not as comfortable as my DE shaves. Finished up with alum which was a little hot. I need more practice and work on my technique. Applied some Nivea post balm and a little Stirling Noir aftershave. Y'all take care.
That's very cool, Jim...pure mechanical driving beauty with no extra fluff to complicate things. I love everything about the old Chevy muscle cars. I bet it's a blast to drive. My mom hauled the kids and groceries around in her '67 Camaro. I wasn't too exciting with the 250 cu. in. 6-cylinder, but I sure wish we had hung on to it.
O.K. I'm going to do a Williams and SE shave soon. I have a nice fellow sending me some blades in the mail to try out. When they get in my mail box it will game on with the Williams and a SE.

Sunday January 13 - clean-up shave This is the least amount of time I had spent on this thread since joining th 30DC in October 2016 - just the way things have gone this month. The last page I read was 28; the thread is now on page 151. I am almost 2500 posts behind. Oh well... Jumping in today, I had about a three day stubble and am going to dinner at my sister's so a civilizing shave was in order. Fatip Grande / GSB (5?) Simpsons CH2 Chubby Synthetic Bristles Fendrihan Lavender Sandalwood soap sample Alum and TSD Vanilla milk aftershave Two passes and I am cleanshaven again. This Fendrihan soap sample seems to last forever. At the rate it is going, I might get another dozen shaves out of it. I plan to stick with it until it is finally deceased.
