If this helps with your resume , you coached me with the shavette last year and i think you did an excellent job!
Around here they inject about 1/8" of treatment to outside of wood and call it pressure treatment. Wood rots after a year maybe 2. I know what you're saying Randy You're results are good. I prefer the Rapira in the Luxor but other blades work well also. Great shave Charlie
Monday morning shave....better! So much better I had to post sooner than later! Using this little open blade cutter is going right on schedule.... This morning I used my left hand to start (I'm right handed) and things were much better. 2 full passes and some touch up left me with a good shave and only 1 hot spot just above the adams apple. I still need to get the neck closer in two spots but that will come with time. The head shave 3 passes, no issues, smooth and nice!! I have 3 shaves on each blade so we will see how Tuesdays shave goes. Thanks every one for the encouragement (read enabling)! tp
SOTD January 14, 2019 Alphabetical journey through soaps and creams Letter N Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: GEM PTFE Razor: GEM Featherweight Brush: JR #41 badger Soap: Nivea body shaving shave stick Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave Nivea shave stick is my letter N offering. This is a new drug store shave stick. Someone just picked one up at TJ Maxx for $4. I got this one at Walgreens. Anyway, it works really well. Excellent lather and post-shave feel. Slick, easy to rinse, etc. Really enjoyable shave product. The Featherweight behaved beautifully and all came together for a nice Monday shave. Letter O tomorrow with Oleo New City soap and splash. Have a great day!
Even when I scroll past the name, I can always tell when it is Charlie posting. I notice the shave stick is for “body shaves”. Thank you for keeping your report short, Perry.
December 14 SOTD: Razor: Gillette Fatboy Blade: Voskhod Brush: Ever-Ready 150 Lather: CO Bigelow Aftershave: Proraso Green Additional Care: Stirling Unscented PSB A nice Monday morning shave with some CO Bigelow and my Fatboy. I like this SC so much that when I saw it at the local Bath & Body Works I had to pick up another tube. They don't always carry it at this store, so I had to take advantage. A little Proraso Green put the finishing touch on this shave. It is my bride's birthday today, so we will have a little celebration this evening. I hope everyone has a great day!
January 14th Razor: IBC/Blackland Vector Blade: Feather AC Professional/Schick P-30 AC (4) Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated Soap: Proraso Red PAA Star Jelly unscented AS: Proraso Red Lozione Good morning! One pass with the shavette this morning. I had intentions of doing two but a pretty good knick on my adams apple had me thinking that this was a sign. Things were going really well up to that point. My wife came into the bathroom and we started talking. The shavette still needs my undivided attention. I caught my adams apple with the heal of the blade. Finished off with two easy passes from the Vector for a BBS finish. Monday again, have a great day! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Excellent shave and photo Terry. Great photo and shave. Happy Monday Perry. Excellent filter Jim. Did your daughter help pick it out? Also Happy Birthday to the Mrs. Another great color coordinated shave and photo Jim.
January 14, 2019 Karve D Plate Feather WDC-8 with Druida Manchurian AOS Sandalwood Cream Fine Santal Absolut Moving a little slow this morning. I hit the snooze button way too many times. The "Weapon Jr' whipped up the AOS Sandalwood cream into a rich slick lather. Three passes and touch ups ended just short of a perfect shave. My lower right neck was my nemesis as usual. A splash of Fine Santal and I am off to fight Atlanta traffic. I hope everyone has a great Monday.
You're welcome. No one wants to see that, Randy. Great shave and picture, Jim! Thank you, Jim! Great photo, Jim! Love the red tones. Thank you, Clint!
