    As I understand it, lanolin is not actually a fat. No glycerides. So it would not saponify. Of course I'm no expert here either.

    Somewhere in my casual reading over the last few days I recall understanding that lanolin doesn't saponify as easily as tallow. So if it's in a soap much of it act like an added ingredient. If you aren't allergic, it leaves a nice moisturizing face feel.

    A nice shave this morning with the Karve. Two passes and DFS. A little Brut got my day going right. I hope everyone has a great day!
