  1. @Rob206

    My routine.

    1) Wet rag with cool water. Gently wipe face.

    2) Wash face with cool water and soapy hands. No scrubbing or exfoliating. The razor does that for you.

    3) Lather

    4) Shave

    5) Cool water rinse until face is cool.

    6) Alum block, allow to dry, Rinse cool.

    7) AS

  2. Awesome, Adam! Looks like it will be more than worth all the crap you have had to put up with to get it done.

PS- is the ‘wall art’ razor what you sold the Toggle to fund?
  3. Looking great Adam.

Supply Co Single Edge ver2.0 matte black on two-dot plate / a blade (5)
    Simpsons CH2 Chubby Synthetic Bristles
    Fendrihan Lavender Sandalwood soap sample
Alum and TSD Lavender Milk Aftershave

The sample is dead! The sample is dead! This never-ending sample of Fendrihan soap finally snuffed it this evening. The wafer thin disk that was all that was left of the puck broke up into little pieces while being lathered today, so I dumped the remnants into my bathtub soap bag.

Adam @Drygulch, I have finished my first soap of 2019, being about a 3 oz. sample of Fendrihan Lavender Sandalwood German-made vegan soap.

And the last shave with this soap was a good one. Plentiful creamy lather, two good passes, DFS, no errors reported by the alum.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  6. Looks terrific, Adam!
  7. Thanks, Jason. The timing worked out well, but there were plans to sell the Toggle before hand. The wall art showed up at ShopGoodwill and was underpriced in my opinion. I had bid on it before I even thought of my NB. This is only the second Champlain razor I have seen in the three years I have been looking for one. I did shut off my automatic monitoring stuff to help with NB.
  8. Great picture, Charlie!
  9. Thank you! :happy088:

  15. No no - THAT is a Shaggy Dog Tale. Mine was a Shaggy Mummy Story. Subtle but important distinction...
  16. Thanks Paul! I would enjoy taking the Anheuser-Busch Brewery tour as well. It's cool that you have a strong family connection there.
    Thanks gentlemen!

  19. All pucks may be used like shave sticks.

@wchnu - is rubbing a Williams puck on one's beard and face lathering 'old school proper'?
  20. Thank you Clint!
