January 2019 30 Day Rule/Focus Pix & Discussion

Thanks Charlie..............even though I don't use it at work it has always benefited me. My high school drafting teacher always said that what we were learning in class would always benefit us and he was right. Below is the last project I designed and laid out. It is a small horse barn for my son. The main area is 12x24 feet with an 8x8 feet tack room on the front. A good layout makes the job go together a lot easier and faster. These pictures were taken before it was finished.

Yes indeed. I sell a few razors each year. I need to clean the razor first but a Delta Echo Gillette New Short Comb will be leaving the den. I am still undecided but the Blackland Sabre Level 2 will likely go as well.

Thanks Clint it has worked out great for my son. He was boarding two horses and I suggested to him not to rent when we could build something that would pay for itself and he could do what he wanted to do. We run the figures and he said "Dad I would be a fool not to build." You have to have these little life lessons a along the way.

 

I just smear the soap around the bottom with my finger. The texture holds it in place, and makes for a thin layer that mixes with the water in no time. With a stick, I just "color" the bottom of the bowl like a crayon. Unless I face lather it, of course.

It's snowing, the wind is gusting, and the temperature is dropping like a rock. Thankfully, we got home before the roads got very slick. This will be our first real taste of winter. Is it over yet?
