3 passer and much needed today. Henri et Victoria - Cognac and Cuban Cigars is a fantastic, slick soap and the matching balm carries that lovely scent right along. Chubby 2 is breaking quite nicely and had enough loaded for another 2 passes easy. All and all a great shave.

i have the henri and victoria falls lumberjack set. nice stuff..nice set up ..

 

Used the Fall’s Lumberjack set on Friday and it is quite nice. The C&CC is another level scent wise. Slick and so good. Quite proud they are Canadian!

I can guarantee you will love it.

 

First shave with the 58 Fat Boy on 9, mild but deadly. I did miss a day of shaving so I shall see if this is a fluke or not with tomorrow's shave. Tentatively I would say it is a little less mild than the adjustable Executive but shaves even closer. If tomorrow's shave is like today then this razor is going into the regular rotation once I am done paring down razors in the collection. I am going to have to do a shave off at some point between this the Slim and Super 84 to see which performs the best at 9. The Super 109 pre V2 date codes with the original style base plate should be as good as the Super 84 but I haven't used one just yet. That razor is up next after the Fat Boy.

2nd shave with the 58 Fat Boy on 9. No drop off from the first shave. This razor is a really good shaver on the 9 setting. It is almost in the middle of mild and aggressive, it can cut you but it feels mild to the face. Maybe the hype behind this razor is deserved and not just a case of a bunch of muppets repeating each other until they create an echo chamber.
