Auto Strop VC-1 instruction sheet. After looking at images on the web, I came up with the dimensions of 2 13/16" x 8 13/16" to be close to it's original size. You'll probably have to adjust the contrast some to darken it a bit. One thing I should add is the dimensions were made after trimming the edges to make them straight.

    DIY Gillette Tech Box.......

I've been wanting to do this for a while, and I hope it helps out some members in making their own Tech Box (case). It really isn't hard to do and only involves gluing three areas. I have included measurements to both parts needed to make it, in case your printer needs them for an accurate copy, slightly smaller will also probably work. Also, depending on the printer, color and contrast might have to be adjusted. I would suggest printing a set, or two, on plain paper, just to practice making it. Use matte photo paper set on the best quality for the final product, while not as thick as the original, it'll work, unless you want to glue another sheet of heavy paper to it. On the instruction sheets, you will notice dotted lines. Those are the areas to be folded. The solid lines are where the cuts will be. Some of the outline areas are a little harder to see, but use the instruction sheets as a guide. Some lines are a little off, but hey, no one's perfect. For the cardboard insert that's about 1/8" thick, a hard type foam will work as it'll be easier to cut and just add a piece of thin cardboard on top. The two links are for my Dropbox for the ones to be printed out as the images are too big to upload on here. The two pics are the instruction sheets. Hope this helps someone.................

I also noticed how two of my favorites, Bic and Israeli Reds get better as they are used more. I like how they seem to get smoother also.

This thread might be the tightest thread here! Do we have a thread that has fabric patterns for various case interiors or leather patterns for case & container exteriors?
