  2. The straight got a day off today becaus I've been craving a menthol fix. Glacial lemony orange to the rescue!

I pulled out the Ever Ready "Natural Angle". It's the British version of the Gem Featherweight. I've had this for a few months, but hadn't gotten around to trying it until today. This one is beautiful. It had a blade loaded when i got it. Otherwise, it could pass for unused. It delivers the same awsome shave as its American sibling.

Enjoy your day Jim. Great shave and pic.

I agree Clint. Longer weekends. Miss your mossy pics btw . I'm buried in snow here.

  10. i add a little water to the top of some soap pucks .especially if they haven t been used for some time..loads a little easier. not a necessity though..scared? never..
  11. Glad you made it safely Paul.

    I have brush envy Charlie.

I like the synths but prefer boar to badger . Find them to have more backbone i guess.

I hear turtle necks are making a comeback Jason.

    Awesome Danny!

The E2 gives me one of the best shaves ever. Have a USA and a Canadian made , but i dont use both at same time.

Wife approved. Id call it a success Mark.

I like pancakes, not soap pancakes though.

    Oh brother !

The choir has spoken . Alleluia

  13. Very nice setup Robert. I love my FW with a Gem SS blade or a Treet carbon.

Its the only green i get to see until St.Patricks day Clint. Gives me hope that this snow here will eventually leave and i can sit outside under a tree and read this thread in comfort.
  14. Thanks Patrick
This one came from Japan, not sure where it was made. Don't know how to ID that. With the B-20 blades, seems to do OK.

  15. Great pic again, Jim. I think we all have a forgotten tub or two- we pull it out and think 'why don't I use this more?' and then put it back in the cabinet again.
Yup, the Green makes for a great Menthol Monday shave...I think it is a my 'forgotten' soap lately. You've inspired me to pull it out for next Monday.
Beautiful colours again. I think you're tempting me by showing me more CH2's, Clint!:rolleyes005:
Glad you are safe and sound back at home, Paul. Sounds like a stressful day. Had to look up Cracker Barrel, fwiw...
Have fun with the kids today, Charlie!
I see you replaced that plastic Omega 10098 handle with a very similar shape, in a much nicer material.
I am really enjoying my last few synthetics. Love big Omega boars as well. Love a few of my badgers as well... I guess I love the variety!:happy088:
You probably already know this Terry, but if there are no parallel grooves on the bar below the blade, it is almost certainly an E2. E1s are very rare, and anything E3 or later will have the grooves.
That is actually a very nice bowl underneath all that soap, Mark!
I have the TSE Beach Bum that came from Randy a year or two ago. A very good soap in a too-small diameter tub.
    Very nice combo!
I've looked at the Black Hawk a few times, Perry, as I've wanted an Artist Club safety razor for a bit now, and it is always sold out at IB. I might just get myself on the email list for it.
That razor is in pristine shape, Robert. Congrats!
A very nice Menthol Monday combo as well.

  20. Thank you, Jason.
Going through my soaps the way I am has been fun. When I finish I'm giving serious thought to starting over and doing it again.
