  2. I have been into photography for years but it seem lately that I cannot find time for it like I used to. I need to order some black and white film and some chemicals. I need to get back in the darkroom for a while. The darkroom is where time seems to stop for me. Have a great day!

  3. Day 18 with the Parker!

The brush formally known as “Ol’ Shedder”
    Eleven Blue Spruce software

Eighteen consecutive days with the Parker. For me, that’s a good run. I’m not done…just impressed that my attention span has held out this long.

Everything was going swimmingly. Then, on the third pass, just as I was getting ready to start a stroke, all three dogs starting barking in unison - suddenly. Which in turn made me jump a little, and cause a small (fortunately) cut. I’m sure that whatever caused them to go nuts was VERY important - maybe a vehicle passing up the road, or a leaf falling off a tree.

Aside from that, another sweet shave. Very smooth finish, and now I’m smelling very spruce-like.

Have a great day, fellas. I’ll try to get caught back up in the thread again….

  5. Well, the water work is done...it does feel SLIGHTLY warmer in here....perhaps a test of patience. The one difference is that the thermostat had the "clicking" sound for the warmth, whereas it didn't before., Y'know, I slept last night with my ski cap on(well, it's a ski cap, but I don't ski anymore. ). It made me feel like I was doing Everest or another Himalaya.
  6. Great setup and photograph Bruce. :happy096:

  7. Good picture and line up with a beautiful background.
  8. Back now...they finished the water problem-if they got the heat issue too perhaps it'll take time to be back to normal. Maybe it was the boiler they were working on....dunno.
  9. I remember when my son played Pro football and had to get a needle in his heel to freeze it. Said it was the most painful event he had been through. I don't imagine your experience was much better Clint.
  10. Hope it gets working soon.
  11. Thanks..I'll update. Will call my landlord if problem continues.

  15. Hello @NTR, and welcome. I remember being where you are.

Be sure to confirm your beard growth pattern. I had always thought that a N/S stroke on my neck was WTG. When I discovered my most irritated (lower neck) actually grows S/N (almost flat to the skin) it changed how I shave for the better.

    Enjoy the journey!

  17. By definition molestation is bad? I shouldn't link to it, but search Youtube for "It's easy M'kay". (NSFW or folks who don't enjoy SouthPark humor)
    I'd give it a try!
Think of it as a way to use both Barbasol and a brush. Skip the bowl, just face lather it with a damp brush. :happy088:
Karma balanced. I'm still Ok! There was no Blooming involved. This was post dispensing hydration.
Barbasol in general, or the molestation of such?
Thank you for that Sir. Please ignore the following quote and comment.
    (This is the one, Fuzzy)
For Science, I think you must. To make a serious experiment, the results must be repeatable by others in their laboratories. I'll dig out my Williams!
    Just like soap, Charlie.
    Barbasol Regular ingredients;
Stearic Acid - from the Greek word στέαρ - tallow.
    Triethanolamine -pH adjuster & surfactant.
Isobutane - propellant with low global warming potential.
    Laureth-23 - surfactant - emulsfying agent.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate - foaming and surfactant agent.
    Propane -

Bwaaaa! Are you really worried what the neighbors think? It's about how you feel.

Thank you Perry. At last a voice of Reason!

  19. Is shaving irritation mostly caused by...

    A) A lack of Preshave oil and AS treatments?

    Or

    B) Scraping oneself with a sharp piece of steel at a steep angle?

    Elk Antler Badger Brush
