Both nice! Love the scales on the Never Fail and the unknown.

13/16 Le Jaguar, cream was Floris 89 lathered with a TOBS silver tip. D. R. Harris Pink finished up.

Thanks guys - I was lucky enough to receive it as a family heirloom and it’s one of my best shaves. :happy088:

Files are too large to post the photo. I used a J.R. Torrey "Our 136". This Torrey model is my favorite. It took me several months to find one at a price and condition I wanted. I honed it on films up to 3 micron and finished on a combination of Coticule and Thuringian. It's one of my best edges ever.

Nice one pass shave. I'm kinda fried with the Bigelow/ Proraso scent along with the almond/cherry scented Italian soaps and creams and find it detracting from the shaving experience. I'll be moving on to others. Have a good one.

Robert Klass Kissing Crane 6/8, re-honed on 8k synth and a Cumberlandite Anchor finisher - details in the honing thread. It shaved well, like a good 8k edge, a little more resistance than a good jnat edge or high grit synthetic. Also had about 1/2 second tingle from alcohol based AS, which I usually don’t get with a jnat edge. Cream was AdP lathered with a Rooney 3/2 Heritage, AS was Myrsol Aqua Balsamica and AdP balm finished up.

    Cheers, Steve

Tonight's shave was with a Newly acquired, restored, and honed razor. Perfect 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Excellent razor. Now I know why @gssixgun likes them so much. This one takes on the wickedest, smooth edge.

Razor- "Green Lizard". Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. Little Valley NY.
    Brush- Stirling Boar.
    Soap- Arko/Sandalwood Scented
Aftershave- Vintage Shulton Old Spice. Ships Lantern Decanter

    Thanks

This old razor is very well made with awesome steel .Takes an extremely keen edge . Destroys whiskers with almost no effort .Was real lucky finding her .Sodren's do not pop up very often.
