    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    EDRIO #13 Cooper MonoBilt #1
    Gillette Nacet (4)
Wild West Brushworks Jungle Ebonite W/ Maggard Mixed knot (26mm, Frigate Class)
B&M Night Music soap and AS
    Stirling Glacial Unscented PSB

The King is in the building!! Absolutely phenomenal shave this morning from the Cooper MonoBilt. I love how I can get a really shallow angle with this razor. B&M Night Music is a very complex scent consisting of vanilla, musk, strawberry, Iris and bergamot. Though there is no chocolate in the scent description Night Music has a chocolaty, gourmand sort vibe to it (kinda like drunken goat). I put on some of the splash last night for my wife to smell and she said it reminded her in incense (I don't know what kind of incense she's been smelling), but she didn't say it smelled like old man, which is good. The lather from Night Music took on that light brown chocolate milk sort of look and was super shiny and goopy and had great slickness. Three passes left me BBS and though I probably didn't need the balm today I love that glacial menthol hit so I finished with Stirling Glacial Unscented PSB and once it absorbed a very light application of the Night Music AS. BTW Night Music is a very strongly scented product both in the soap and AS so if you don't want to smell scrumptious to all your coworkers best go light with it.

Have a great day my friends!

PS after a good combing the Maggard mixed knot shed no hairs today!

  8. Back home from the convention, FDA is out of the plant after four days of “bend over while I stick this up your...” well you get the picture. Anyway, results of “no findings” after four days of probing, combined with seeing my girls and sleeping in my own bed again makes me a happy camper.

In shaving news, following in @Pimontore’s footsteps, I bloomed “the mango” again, and got a dandy of a shave. (I wanted to say that last part just because it sounded ridiculous and might divert the CT police from the fact that I said I “bloomed the mango” in the first part). Anyway, after making lighthearted fun at Joseph and the other bloomers in the past, I have to admit it is helping this hard milled soap to keep its place in my den. Unfortunately, this probably means that I am out of Fuzzy’s will, and will now never get to shave with the “Stivette”.

  10. Congrats Doug and Patsy! Great stuff!

Ice cream fun fact - if the chocolate ice cream you manufacture doesn’t taste chocolatey enough, add some vanilla to it and it will bring out the chocolate flavor. We now return you to your regular (and more interesting) programming.
  11. Terrific shave and photo, Andrew!

  14. Great shave Aaron, is this your first go with the Wilkie shave stick?
That is a fun fact, Randy!
    Thanks Perry!
  15. @Linuxguile 3rd time. Still figuring out how much to use!
  16. Congrats Doug & Patsy!

Sounds awesome Andrew . What does the mixed knot consist of btw?
I'll ignore the fact you bloomed in exchange for the ice cream tip. Came late as I already had a bowl of chocolate earlier, but will keep I'm mind for next time.
  17. Thanks Patrick! 70% two band finest badger 30% boar
  18. That's awesome! Congratulations!

That small blip of soap you see was the last of my Taylor of Old Bond Street sample of cedar sandalwood which sadly gave up the ghost after the first pass so I finished the shave with another sample of TOBS Eton college . The Rapira Swedish steel is still going on shave 7 I believe, could be 8 now but it's still got mileage left. Thats the farthest a blades ever taken me . Brush is JR 29 badger and AS is Skin Bracer. Splash of WH on cleanup pass and Bob's your uncle . Have a great day everyone.
  20. Glad you made it home safely. I know you’re happy to have the FDA finished.
