My second shave with the Starling. I found it has good blade feel but not overly efficient or smooth during a shave. Attained a passable Shave with some time and effort. Not in the same league as most Vintage SE that I use.

Smooth and comfortable shave with the Pushbutton this morning. Easy removal of two days' growth. Have a great day!

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Ingram Shaving Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #313 badger brush. I did two passes with the Open Faced Damaskeene razor with a ShaVeZee SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Really nice shave this morning, the Gem Small Head is a wicked good shaver and my face likes it. And it time to use up the remaining Stirling MITA I have so I'll be using it for the next couple of weeks. Except for Wednesdays, that's reserved for Williams. So all is well. Normally I enjoy Shaves with this Razor, but today I found it not as effective as usual, I suspect it may well be the blade as Shaves of the last couple of days have not been the best.
