Sunday SOTD

I did the first pass with the GC 84 baseplate (as I had 2.5 days of growth) followed by my normal passes with the regular 68 baseplate. Very, very smooth. As I settle into it, I'm sure I'll become more familiar and comfortable with the 84. It just felt a little more efficient TBH, not aggressive at all. The La Toja lathered swimmingly. Finally got around to some minor repair and refreshing of a number of razors today. This lovely Mappin & Webb got it’s pin tightened and a refresh on my yellow-green Thuringian. All’s well - smooth and clean as can be.

Thanks. It's been in the back of my closet for decades, I guess. I used it as a teen, then for some reason, I quit using it. I'm not sure why as it's a beautiful, bold fougère. I guess I just ventured out and never came back around to it. It does go nicely with B&M's Beaudelaire. In fact, Will himself has described Beaudelaire as "leather soaked in Brut".
