Last shave for January: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Goodfella/7 AM day 7 Stirling Sharp Dressed Man SS Davidoff Cool Water ASB Davidoff Cool Water EdT Although the 7 AM is pretty well finito it still gave me one last hurrah with a great BBS shave. This Sharp Dressed Man is one of the most magnificent soaps Rod and Mandy ever created!
Used the Stirling soap "Ozark Mountain" this morning for my Autostrop shave! Turned out to be a 3 pass BBS shave! Amazing what happens when you have good technique! Y'all have a great day!

January 31 Parker SRX Rapira Swedish Supersteel (4) B-400 by Tom handle w/Envy White Supreme Two-band Third Pass Shaving Co. Active Duty Alum, Thayers WH, USB, Aramis & Captain's Choice Bay Rum 30th focus shave I completed my 30th consecutive shave with the Parker SRX shavette today. My focus began on December 29 and will resume again next week. I made progress toward my goal of developing routine near-BBS proficiency in two passes with the shavette. I used half DE blades, except for the current one, for two shaves each. I completed a side-by-side comparison of Rapira Swedish Supersteel and Lord Super Stainless DE blades, concluding that blade choice generally doesn't matter in the shavette. I nearly consumed a container of Soap Commander Love soap. I also used C.O. Bigelow cream and Third Pass Shaving Co. Active Duty soap, as well as four different shaving brushes. I even learned how to get better lathers with the synthetic knot in my 30 Day Crew LE brush. Stay warm, gentlemen!
Tobacco Thursday Superb shave today. The 6s easily destroyed two days of growth in comfort. The jelly is a really good aftershave that leaves my face feeling smooth and protected, but not greasy. I was able to obtain a C2 pomade recently, and this stuff is legit. It goes on easily and does not make my hair crunchy. I like the scent, too. Gem Bullet Tip razor Treet blade Stirling MITA SS FS/WD boar brush Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Daxton A/S Why to Treet blades rust so quickly for me? Don't know but they do. Can only get about 3 shaves out of them before the rust takes over. Yes, I take the blade out of the razor, dry it and put it in a dry place till the next shave. Don't know what more I can do except not use them any more. Oh well, there are more good blades. BTW, ended up with a nice shave and all is well. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Timeless Bronze SB/BIC. Marvelous razor. My only complaint is the handle is a bit too heavy but I still prefer it to my 95.
I refreshed this blade which had fallen out of favor recently. What a difference. Easy WTG strokes were making the shave a pleasure. Too easy as it turned out. Before you know it I managed to catch the edge on my skin. Yikes, a divot. I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later but that doesn’t make me feel any better about it. Maybe this razor just doesn’t want to stay in the collection. SOTD - Tabac Thursday A really nice shave with the adjustable Weishi Nostalgic today after a great haircut at the barber. I had to throw the Vostok Amphibia in there as it went along with the black and red theme - I love that aftermarket bezel. I hope everyone enjoys their Thursday.
