Praise the Lord for Martha's progress, Perry! I'm thankful that she is receiving great care, and I'm glad to hear that Alice is getting to spend time with her.
That's a very nice shave, Jim. The Walbusch Humpback Slant is just plain cool looking. I hope the work stoppage is resolved quickly. During my career, thankfully I never had to do what you're doing. I worked in a non-union plant, but I heard stories about engineers traveling to other locations to assist during strikes, etc. The work is difficult enough without having to deal with all the extra stress and emotion associated with things like this.
Thank you, Charlie! Some years, these things seem fairly smooth, other years not so much. I guess I will find out tonight how this one is going.
I love my Omega Pro 49. I will be using it in Feb. It has a great backbone and the bristles are soft.
Hi Terry, Have you tried Heet ointment or a heating pad? I am not a doc, but you may have pulled muscles and ligaments in the shoulder. Hope it isn't anything serious.
The Pro 48 and 49 brushes are BIG but they are awesome brushes. I started with the 48 as my first "real" brush. I had a Tweezerman for a short time before that and once I switched I never looked back. I don't use the Pro as much since I got a bit hooked on synthetics but I'll bring it out in February as well. Definitely a keeper!
@BaylorGator is doing better since he got new glasses and since the teacher moved him to the front row. Now if we could just keep him from smoking in the bathroom and knocking kids down at recess...one step at a time.
