I'm not sure how to feel about this. At first I was kinda proud of my restraint in comparison, but now I'm wondering if I have enough blades? Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
Nice shave, Charlie! I have a Trac II handle that I should use some time. It matches the blue handled Surrey badger that I have. Was part of a set I got from my great uncle. Anyway, nice stuff!
Everyone seems to have some type of acquisition disorder, Jim. Mine is blades. I think I'm finished buying blades.
View it as a 'rite of passage'! I got my first straight from Glen. He suggested an inexpensive strop. Yup, I nicked it just like the prophesy.
Thanks Perry. I'm as close to BBS as I ever get. It's really a nice razor, and I can see how it lured a lot of men away from DE's. It's cool that you have your Great Uncles's razor. Bring it out for a test drive sometime, and let us see it.
In all honesty I'm not too far behind you in blade inventory. My real weakness is soaps and aftershaves. I just love the variety of scents available. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
I can hook you up Perry. I buy them in bulk on amazon to sell with the occasional Trac II or Atra handle that I get in.
I've not used anything except the Personna Twin II blades on Amazon. They're available individually packaged and in bulk. If you don't mind open trays, this is a pretty good deal.
Love that Rooney handle, Keith! I'm usually not as much of a butterscotch fan as others are, but I love the look of that one. I think I've asked you this before, but can't remember the answer- is it vintage? Nice looking combo! If you know you like that splash, 12 bottles sounds reasonable to me, Perry. What do you find different with the new bottles/formula that you don't like? do you think it true of all Fine scents, or just American Blend? I see the cold snap didn't harm the greenery, Clint! Glad to hear the synthetic Duke is a winner as well. Beautiful photo as always! Tomorrow's blade will be less harsh, I'm sure, Jim. Agree completely on the Stirling samples- both soap and splash last way longer than you'd think. Another very nice combo! Well, if you decide to move your Paladins along, Joseph, I'm sure there will be a long list of folks who will be PM'ing you! That is a very nice frankenrazor- love the simple Tech head and the common bar handle from a NEW is one of my favourites for sure. TGIF! The boys look very happy as always, Andrew! Love the look of the single ring handle. My OT is a 20s ball end. Do they shave the same? Very nice, Charlie. I received a Schich Trac II compatible handle from @John Ruschmeyer at our last raffle. I was saving it for travelling without a checked bag, but maybe I should bring it out earlier.
