  6. Hi everyone! I just finished my shave this evening. I mentioned earlier in this thread that this will be my month of firsts. Tonight was my first shave with my brand new Ralf Aust 6/8 Spanish point. I bought it from Maggards and it was indeed shave ready. I am still using VDH luxury lather and I am going to continue using my Omega Pro 49 boar brush. I only needed WTG and ATG with touch-ups to get a BBS shave. I am glad to report that I did not get any nicks, weepers or irritation. It was a real smooth shave. This was my 30th traditional straight razor shave paired with my 45 shavette shaves that is a total of 75 straight razor shaves. I want to be a 100 shavette/100 traditional straight razor man. I am on my way. I only grade straight razor shaves. Result: Grade A+ =97

  7. Great pic as always Jim.
    Nice pic and enjoy the ribs, always a good choice.
    Sounds like a good setup
    Well after seeing those counts I feel bad for only having around 100, but considering I only de or se shave once or twice a month that should last for quite a while.
    Nice setup Doug, my sister in laws grandfather had quite a few come to his yard every morning since he fed them every day.
    Very nice brush.
    Very nice setup patrick

  10. I looked it up, It's on the internet so it must be true. A 'bunch' is;

    It varies. It is totally dependent upon the buncher and how many items he/she/it thinks should be bunched into the bunch. Typically, it would be more than four because two is a couple, two and three are several, three and four are called a few, so more than that is often called a bunch.

  11. That's great news on the agreement, Jim. This is one of the worst times to be at work. I know our guys don't want to strike anymore than I want to attempt to take over for them. Unfortunately, it always seems that even though we want the same outcome, there is a distrust that develops. Maybe distrust is the wrong word, but there is an uneasiness. I am glad they got it worked out at our site, and glad it sounds like they got it worked out at your site.

  15. That sounds like a yes to me Joseph, but I’m an enabler so listening to me might lead to trouble:char039:. Last years meet was a great time, and the only items that I purchased was the le soap and splash and another Jeeves soap. I did end up giving away a few items that I didn’t need anymore.

  16. I think it is made worse sitting on the outside just having to wait for news. I don't know how it is at your site, but we get very little in the way of updates from management and HR at our site.
