    I enjoy the break-in, too. Does that mean I might prefer two band or black badger knots over silver tips? So far that's been my experience. I like a bit of prickly scrub when applying lather.

    I'm with you. The best part of getting a new brush is breaking it in. I have an Omega 10098 boar en route and a Nathan Clarke two band Envy White that should show up a day or two later. I'm excited!

    Or winter in Florida. Occasionally on a cold day, I put a long sleeve T shirt on under my short sleeve shirt. Last time I did, my wife, who grew up in an agricultural community, said I looked like a “bean picker”. I just chose to take it as a compliment and went to work.
