  1. Bill Neumann, WCS, Stirling, and a host of other vendors are waiting patiently for you to crack open your wallet, Paul. No hurry. :happy102:

  2. You're making good progress. Having a light touch and riding the cap takes practice. With time, it will become automatic.

I usually replace DE blades after three shaves. I use hand soap from the pump and a soft tooth brush to clean my razor at that time. If I plan to put it away for awhile, I might also clean it with Scrubbing Bubbles to get all the nooks and crannies. I usually keep some lint-free cloths (same ones I use for my glasses and watches) around for drying my razors after cleaning them.
  3. Thanks Charlie.

  4. Great photo. Great otter-free shave. Top tier razor and soap. And then there's the Clubman. :D
  5. This is not the way to shave. My son found this on Facebook.

  6. Fantastic progress, Joseph, on both the blade edge and the shave!

  8. I use all parts of the blade depending upon the angle and which part of my face. Sometimes the heal, sometimes the toe, the middle or the entire blade.

TdH is an iconic perfume and rightly so, it smells wonderful and is unique. It is and always be in my den. You will see it appear again when th eweathwr warms up. I have Aventus too but strongly prefer TdH, enjoy!

    Sweeeeeet, great pick up.
  9. Grade A shave, Joe. I really like the NOS Henckels razor. It's a beauty.
  10. Wow Andrew. Fantastic photo and the brush looks gorgeous.

Congrats on such a great find Joe.

Excellent photo and shave lineup Patrick. What prompted the goatee removal?
  11. Thank you Patrick.
  12. Thank you, Jim.
Thanks, Bruce. It is great fun.
    Thanks for the tip, Paul.
    :thanks: Clint:thanks:
    Thank you Patrick.
    Thanks Marine.
    Great feeling, Andrew.
For my Rubberset, Jim @Jayaruh harvested an Omega Pro (26mm x 63mm) Not sure what the number is.
  13. Thank you Charlie!
  14. Congrats Patrick. I wore a mustache for 15 years before they were considered creepy. :scared003: I finally shaved it off when it changed colors.

I've never had a beard, goatee, stubble, or even long sideburns. Always clean shaven. I think the facial hair would bug me, and it would take a long time for it to fill in and look decent. I don't like the stubble look at all. I remember my Dad shaving every day (he never had any facial hair) even though he worked in construction and could get by without shaving. In his day, guys shaved every day, and I carried on with his habit.

  16. Rookie shave. Next time, someone should hold his beer so he can stretch his skin. There's no reason he shouldn't get a baby smooth finish with a 3600 RPM buffer. I've seen @NCoxSTL get much better shaves at 1800 RPM.
  17. Great picture and music selection!
  18. Thank you, Patrick!
  19. I continue to use those Omega knots in my 400 type brushes. They are great knots.
  20. Looks and sounds like a great shave.
