TGIF SOTD Brush: El Druida 28mm Manchurian Soap: WK King of Oud Razor: Wade&Butcher 6/8 1/4 hollow(feels more like a half) Aftershave: WK King of Oud The razor doesn’t get much use from me because she is a bit small for my liking, however every time I use it the performance is better than most of my larger razors. Pretty much BBS on this shave with the wonderful scent of KoO! Glad I picked this one up today as I have never gotten a bad shave with it. The brush performed very well as I face lathered (I normally bowl lather) and it had decent backbone but I like a touch more than what it provides. None the less the tips are very soft and minimal scritch(another thing I like). Going out of my normal bubble resulted in an excellent shave! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Merkur Futur on a '1' with a BiC CP blade just might be my best shaver. No nicks, no cuts, SUPER close. Closer than the OneBlade razor. 2-pass + cleanup = BBS. The fragrance of the day is Jazz Club. First time using these products together. Fantastic pairing with Henri et Victoria's Cognac and Cubans. Cognac and Cubans is a bit sweeter smelling than Jazz Club, but on all other fronts have identical similarities. Today's shave exceeded expectations.
New February Favorites!! February 8 Razor - 1946-'47 Gillette Aristocrat Blade - (3) Soap - Stirling 2018 Fair Debonaire - St. Louis (Haverford) Brush - Wolf Whiskers Custom Silvertip Post - Alum Third shave with the Aristocrat and Voskhod. I chose the Stirling LE soap from St. Louis this past summer, now available as Haverford. I actually already bought a tub of Haverford for when the LE runs out. Gave my Wolf Whiskers some love. It doesn't get out often enough. Looked lonely among those synthetics so I gave it a good soaking and let it enjoy the soap. Great lather and three full passes of relaxed goodness. Finished BBS and went for the Alum to see how my face has recovered from its scalping. No burn, no noticeable irritation. I'm ready to go! I've enjoyed this setup as it involves a full compliment of favorites. Good times. It's nearly Saturday so here's to a great weekend for those who have one! Mine is two more days way. I'll get there.
