Extra sleep, new Supply SE razor (congrats!), epic shave, smelling good, and lunch with Mom. It doesn't get any better than that, Clint! I hope you had a fantastic day.
The WF Engel Special is a beautiful old razor, Joe. I really like the detailing on the bolsters. This is a wonderful addition to your den!
Do the Suns still have a jazz band that plays as they run out to the court? That was a fun feature when they played at their previous arena.
Blood clots are uh bad news, they go from the legs to the lungs, found that out first hand. Glad you got it taken care of!! Rat poision isn't just for rats anymore... Now that's nice! Very very nice Charlie Thamk you Charlie. Cleaned it up, smoothed it out and put some clear coat on it today while the grandkids were naping. Turning out to be a great shaver, so far. tp
Fantastic set ups and shaves, Brian. I hope you and Mrs. Chick have a great time this weekend with Chick Chick.
Perry, I see you gave me a like for that. You should have your band do that for basketball games. (Course in a smaller facility, t might end up blowing the roof off the place).
Thank you, Terry. Yes, that's what happened to me in September. Scary time, but I'm doing well now. I'm sorry to hear that happened to you as well. I hope you are doing fine.
Thank you Charlie. I had a fabulous day. Back home cleaning up the house for my wife’s return tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That looks like a perfect setup, Jim! I hope you had a great Saturday. Your son's Little League tryouts sound like fun!
Thanks Charlie Mine was a cluster ****, by any measure. So the story goes.... I'm being treated for Bronchitis for about 3 months see, with steroids none the less. Been to the doctor and the ER both A few times see. Finaly, I go to a quickcare where there's this older doc, his opinion was "hmmmmm....". Tests surgar level, 865. Driven to the ER, this time they didn't give me this can't breath because of Anxiety BS. Scan came up negative for Pancreatitis, but the little part of the lung in the picture looked bad. Back for another scan and.... Hey it's not Bronchitis! Buuutt...You have blood cloots in all 4 quadents of your lungs 2.5 cm and...larger. How many??? Too many to count! "How your still alive uh,,, we dont know???" Well Insulin and rat poision for supper..... AND send your butt (THE HE** OUTA HERE!!) to a bigger hospital because "we can't handel you here!" Where they got me good to go. You can't mak this stuff up... Oh man... 2 years later last month, clots gone, sugar level normal without meds. Blood thinner for life.. Never take steroids, ever, again! I left a lot out, but I think you get the jist of it. So things can from bad to holy sh**. In moments, yes it can... Scary, not really, been so close before... don't know why I wasn't afraid, just wasn't. Been there, done that.... Glad you caught yours early. Thinking that might be the easier path. tp
Joseph, I shared your storage shelf photo with my Bride. She said it gave her heart palpitations. Looks like my stuff will be well hidden in a closet or medicine cabinet. I did get a concession to display my razors and brushes out in public view.
Wow. You traveled a scary road, Terry. I am very glad that you're doing well now. I had clots in both lungs, but I think you had it worse than me. My symptoms included pain in my side near my lower back. I mistook it for a muscle strain. Eventually, the pain got really bad, and I had trouble breathing. Off I went to Urgent Care, and the doc sent me directly to the ER. After a long day, I was sent home with a six-month blood thinner prescription. I took double doses of blood thinner for the first few days, and I started feeling better within hours after starting the meds. Everything happened so fast, I wasn't afraid either. As it turned out, I knew one of the ER docs. He was my co-op student many years ago, and he went on to medical school. He and his associate went above and beyond the call of duty to care for and check on me. That made a world of difference. He even brought me ice cream...anyone who does that is OK in my book. I'm glad we're both still around to tell our stories.
Thanks Charlie. I have been blessed with finding this razor and my Friodur on Ebay at great bargains. Sometimes, when you shop, the razor beckons to buy it. It is sort of the same thing when you are looking for a pet at a pet store.
Paul- They only had a dance squad and a pep squad. The NBA standardized game entertainment about ten years ago. These days most NBA clubs either have a drum line or a hip-hop DJ. The NBA doesn't mess around. Every second the game is paused for a commercial or timeout they have something happening on the floor.
