Shaved late this afternoon after a busy day. Pulled out my favourite Injector, the G4, and the fantastic Felce Aromatica. It was also the first use of the 2nd of my new beehives. This one has a 28mm flattop Tuxedo I just got in. It has a very short loft, and I didn’t want to set it any shallower. If you find a bulbed Tuxedo to have too much backbone, you won’t enjoy this one I don’t think. It was a weird feeling face-lathering with this knot. It did, however, have fantastic painting strokes for the 2nd and 3rd passes. The handle itself feels very comfortable and the wood is very nice. I wanted to try it at least once, but I think this will be an imminent PIF as I don’t need two beehives in the same wood.
The G4 did a great job as always and I am very smooth after 3 passes. Truth be told, I don’t notice a significant difference between my E2, E3 and G4. I love the look of this G4, though. I’ve decided to sell the E2 as it was from the wild, and the E3 and G4 came as part of an early trade between John and I. That means more to me than the E2 from the wild.
Finished with the Glycerin’ed and M Bomb’ed Splash, which is a perfect match for the soap.
Have a great evening, all!
