    February 9

    Razor - 1959 (E4) Gillette Fatboy (9)
    Blade - [IMG] (1)
    Soap - Stirling Mountain Man
    Brush - Jayaruh #46
    Post - Alum

Moving to another favorite razor, my birth year and quarter Fatboy. I chose the Rapira Platinum Lux blade to pair with the razor, Stirling Mountain Man and JR46 for the lather. Of course, the Fatty is set on "me". Wide open at 9. Three days of the Aristocrat has tamed the over the top razor burn I suffered and I'm ready to get back at it!

Three passes and all were very smooth, as is expected with this blade and razor. I finished with a BBS, very quiet alum, no issues, no blood, no problem, no worries, no way this was less than an excellent shave. I'm already anticipating to get to do it again tomorrow! I'm a bit behind on here after a busy day with the "day job". I'll get to reading and get caught up. Hope everyone had a great Saturday and that the rest of your weekend is awesome!

    Vintage brush / Maggard synth.
    Stirling "Wintergreen" shaving soap (sample).
Seygus "Zeppelin" V.2 (gap 0.9 mm).
    Personna Lab Blue (8).
    Alcolado Glacial.

    Seygus Zeppelin - gap usage:
    0.7 mm - 1
    0.9 mm - 1

Used the Seygus with 0.7 mm gap yesterday, today the 0.9 mm gap:
The 0.7 mm gap felt better than the 0.5 mm - less efford for a little bit better result.
The 0.9 mm gap was just a bit too aggressive, and caused some small damage.
One or two days with a mild razor, then the 0.9 mm gap will have 1 more chance ...

Wilkinson Sword TTO with a Gillette Rubie
    Simple Facial Toner
    Al-Reab Oudy PO

I haven't posted for a few days due to the on going Conjunctivitis which developed into an Opthamology Emergency due to my A&E missing a couple of corneal ulcers. I have been using fragrance and alcohol free products and razors which I could use blindfolded (which you could probably say....I was). The Creighton's cream is very slick and 3 passes gave me an excellent finish.
The Simple facial toner has been a good discovery. Full of lots of goodies like Lucky Tiger....but no fragrance and a fraction of the price!

  19. Sunday SOTD

Well after the redness from the Dominica Bay Rum, I decided to go with a tried and true - Tabac. I elected to face lather this morning after getting home from the night shift. A very relaxing shave #2 with the personna blue on the normal Razorock GC baseplate. I feel smooth, relaxed, and smell great crawling into bed. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone. I'll be today because I work two more night shifts. Night lol.
