Thanks. The tube is empty except for a liner. I like the brush as well and think it will clean up nicely.
Great shave and fun memories for you both! I was where you're at now last year. Your shaves are just going to keep getting better and better! Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
Joseph, I apologize if I offended you. I love how you stored your gear. It's both functional and cool to see it on display. It would not be my Bride's preferred way, but if I wanted to do this, she'd certainly be OK with it. I was aiming for the response I expected when I showed her the photo, and we had fun with it. At your expense, of course. Many of our friends have told her that she is both a saint and the most patient woman in the world. Then they look in my direction and smile. I have absolutely no idea what they mean by this. I will have some of my gear on display, and I'll share photos as it comes together. Everything else will be in a dedicated spot, so I envision reaching but no digging. Life is very good. Cool idea but not for me. I found a place that accepts my used blades. Aligns better with my OCD mentality. Words to live by, Randy! I wish I had never gotten the gold cap on my front tooth. Thank you! Some folks collect stamps or coins. I've built an extensive library of silly images and memes, Bruce. My heirs will be pleased. I'm a big fan of Mike's soaps, so I'll eventually give this one a try. The only soap with a fruity scent I recall trying has been Route 66 Lumberjack. Be kind to Otters. What have they done to you, Bruce? Thank you for the suggestion. I will certainly ask my doc about this before we take our next long trip. Thank you so much, Brian. This means a lot to us.
That's a super cool brush and a generous PIF, Jason! Thank you! I hope to see one of our new crew members win this for their den.
@clint64 has completed a cursory cleaning. (Beer cans have been collected.) He will be issued a new action item spreadsheet when his Bride gets home to address the remaining items and/or property damage.
Happy Anniversary, Joseph. I haven't met your Bride, but I'd say she is the second most patient woman in the world. I hope you both have fun today.
Nice score, Brian. You have the Midas touch when it comes to finding vintage shaving gear. Of course, it helps that you cover all 50 states about once a month.
Classy storage, Brian. I like it! My sweet bride chuckled and commented on how nice the cabinet looked. Thankfully, no heart palpitations.
@Primotenore , @mrchick , @brit You guys have inspired me to convert an oak book case to a shaving gear/memento display in the new house. I have another place for my books, so I think this will provide ample space.
