SE Sunday's Shave Cold Water Wash Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap Jayaruh #326 C.V. Heljestrand Heljestrand wedge CWR Barbasol Brisk AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #326 synthetic horse brush. I did two passes with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher razor with a Heljestrand wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Barbasol Brisk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Great no brainer shave. Can't beat tabac and those rr Shavers. Like the handle on that - is it a rr? Just dropped my tabac ceramic and she departed my world. But her replacement is on the way. Sad though as i just saw her doughnut. Could see the bottom of the bowl. Wanted to make a razor disposal with it. Now I have to wait 3 more years till she gives up the ghost. My Sunday Grand Freeze: Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/7 AM day 4 Bundubeard Kameelperd’s Kick SS Prep ASB Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Lagerfeld Classic EdT I’m still feeling a cold tingle after this heavy-duty menthol bombardment. It started with Rod’s magnificent mentholated pre-shave soap, then it really got monstrous when I began lathering up with the Kameelperd’s Kick soap which is the South African competitor to the Stirling Glacials. This soap easily has the same intense freeze with a different kind of lather - it’s just as rich, but it’s perhaps less slick and thicker, in fact it becomes so thick that it becomes meringue-like. The scent is a lovely rich coffee type, and its postshave feeling is awesome. The South African-made Prep cream felt so great when I massaged it on and the Alcolado Glacial gave me that delightful icy-cold jolt I love so much. My Super Speed/7 AM combination gave me a brilliant two pass BBS shave in two easy fun-filled passes! Enjoy your Sunday!
