Hello every one!
Sunday shave and Oh what a shave it was.
Using my newly modified Starling V2, that is a very close shaver, now.
I used epoxy to raise the face of the top cap then used a key file to rough in a working shape.
I sanded the top cap with first 400 grit wet sand paper to straighten up the small issues with the epoxy. Then I used 1500 grit to smooth it all out.
There are still pin holes, but nothing I'm gonna worry about, this isn't body work for looks. Then I sprayed it with some clear coat in hope in keeping it from corroding.
You can see two different gray colors because of two different aplications of epoxy.
It's still ugly, but the thing works great for me now.
Only raised it 1/32 of an inch or so, but what a difference it made.

Now when shaving with it I keep trying to use it like its a mild razor, but it isn't like that at all. I can ride the cap well now, so that's not an issue.
Got two weepers on the neck due to carelessness on my part.
A 2 pass shave high and low gave me a great shave on the head and face. Looks like I'm gonna have to focus this guy for a while.
Guess I have a one of a kind razor, that's kinda neat.
Enjoy
