    Alphabetical journey through soaps and creams
    Letter S

    Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: PAL Adjustable
    Brush: JR #41 badger
    Soap: Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Ozark Mountain aftershave

    Best shave to date with the PAL. I first tried this razor on a pass-around a while back, then got one in a big lot of razors from @PickledNorthern. Just couldn't get quality shaves from it and sold it. Then Andrew offers me some redemption and sends one along to try out. Then the other day a guy posts a video about the angle of the PAL and says to treat it much differently than a Schick injector's angle. The handle is much closer to your face and the cap isn't as close. It worked! Excellent, smooth shave with that technique in mind today. More experimentation needed but today's shave was quite an improvement over past PAL attempts.

    Stirling was amazing as usual. All came together quite well. Nice start to the work week. Have a great day!

    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

    A nice Monday morning shave with the Fatboy this morning. I used a Gillette Spoiler blade for the first time, as I had this pack sitting my drawer for a few years. I finally decided to use it, and it was pretty smooth. Combined with some Arko, this was a no easy two pass DFS. I hope everyone has a great day!

    Sorry I can’t help with OS. I tried it as a young man and had a reaction causing me to break out in welts. Stayed away from the stuff ever since.

    Thank you! It's not my first Envy two band but I set this one quite a bit deeper than the Eight Ball which resulted in a ton of backbone. Two uses in and I'm loving it!
