Super nice shave today, 3 pass on cheeks 2 on neck with my Franken teck and Stirling gin and tonic soap the alum was a little louder than with a 2 pass but not bad as it was in the past.

The week is moving along quickly. A excellent shave to start the morning. The Oleo Shiloh scent is just fabulous. It is almost identical to the Asylum Colonia which is another favorite scent of mine. Three passes and touch ups ended in a perfect BBS shave. I did have to buff a little too much on my lower right neck. A splash of the Shiloh aftershave and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

Thank you, Jim! I'm getting close to the end but will stay on letter S a little longer since I've added two more scents from Soap Commander. But I also sold Passion and Courage, so two out and two in for Soap Commander. It's been fun going through all my soaps.

    Thank you, Clint!

    Williams Mug Soap
CVS SE Blade – 1st Shave
    Gem Feather Weight Razor
    Nivea Post Balm
    Pinuad Clubman Classic

Second shave with the Feather Weight this morning. Dampened the RazoRock brush and swirled a little Williams on the bristles and then created some great Williams lather in the Halleluiah Pottery shaving bowl.

Nice comfortable shave with just a hint of alum. I completed two passes and cleaned up a few areas on the neck. The Feather Weight is a great little razor and probably does not get the attention it deserves.

Finished up with some Nivea and Clubman classic.

A Feather Weight, Williams and Pinaud Clubman Classic is the old school combo that never goes out of style.

Y'all take care and have a great hump day!

Thanks Perry. I find Williams easy to whip up. It just takes a little longer and it does a great job.

It's very, very slick. I have found it temperamental and since I bowl lather maybe once or twice a year I've whipped it up in a face lather. I think bowl lathering is the way to go because you can control the water content more easily.

Perry, I think you are right. That is the way I lather it up. I tried it in the Salsa bowl but needed more room. It also seems to me that Williams is not a thristy soap. Hey...it is cheap enough to practice on. Whip up a couple of bowls tonight and see how it works out.

Well, the Maggard brush is off the hook. What do I mean. The Regiment puck is also small in circumference and size (3.5 oz), and I had the Stoylin "li'l brudder" brush, which also created soap along the side of the puck(as did the Maggard yesterday, with the WSP puck). Just means more soap for my face and neck :). (But more "spring cleaning" is needed).

It is close, yes. I would say it's a bit milder than the Veg, but the scent is very similar. My wife agrees with that as well. She has always liked the Veg, but said the Bonaparte isn't as "intense". If that helps.

I'd be happy to send you a scoop of Bonaparte, Joseph. AND if you really dig it I would not be heartbroken to let my set go.
