SOTD February 13th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap EDRIO #21 PAL Adjustable A Blade of unknown properties Paladin Winston (26mm, Frigate Class) Stirling Hipster soap and AS Stirling Glacial Unscented PSB I don't know any hipsters that smell this good! The scent of hipster is a clean citrus forward (grapefruit and bergamot) accord, with light florals, and a light, slightly woody base. The soap performed in typical Stirling awesomeness whipped up by the stiffer-then-it-looks Paladin Winston. The PAL Adjustable had a blade in it already and so I went with it, probably should have changed it out. By the third pass the blade gave up on cutting and so my shave finished somewhere above SAS and below DFS. Finished with some Stirling Glacial Unscented PSB followed by the Hipster AS. If you like grapefruit scents you really should check this one out, highly recommended! Have a great day my friends!! Hump day (switcheroo)!!! Last weekend Logan and Daddy went to the barbershop and got haircuts together. He even got the hot towel treatment! And of course we had to pick up some lunch afterward.

February 13th Schick E2 w Personna (2) APShave Co Flattop/ Sapele Handle First Canadian Maximo Gomez SS Thayers M&L Florida Water Had a bit of a rushed shave earlier this morning. We got about 4 inches of snow last night and I went out early to shovel, and then just as I thought I was done the plow went by and left nice berms of hardened road snow in the entrances to my driveway. The roundabout driveway is a pain sometimes. Came in, showered and shaved right afterwards. My face is pretty raw actually. An hour outside in -12C and then 3 passes right away resulted in quite a sting and some redness after the Florida Water. Still a pleasant shave, though, with some of my favourite products. There is a donut hole in the bottom of this soap now, it is a good thing I've got a backup. Have a great day, all!

First rate shave, Jason! My face would be a contrast of crazy hues after an hour outside shoveling snow followed quickly by a shave. My Southern skin couldn't handle that!
