Thursday 14th February Pears Glycerine Soap Clubman Shave Butter (preshave) Mickey Lee Soapworks Panty Dropper Soap Simfix Synthetic Brush Ever-Ready 1924 Razor on an Ikon Tuckaway Handle GEM SS Blade Alum and Rinse Simple Facial Toner Palmer's for Men Moisturiser Al-Rehab Dakar EDP As a nod to St Valentine.....I just HAD to use the MLS Panty Dropper! The 1924 is a razor I have had for some time but with very little use as the Original travel handle was just too short and slippery. Yesterday's arrival of some 2BA 3/8 grub screws has allowed me to do something about it. The extra heft and grip of the Ikon Tuckaway has transformed the razor.Shaves now approach those obtained by my Streamline...it is a joy to use! The shave passed the Alum test and my face is absolutely Bowling Ball Smooth

Tabac Thursday's Shave Cold Water Wash Tabac Shaving Soap Jayaruh #353 Damaskeene 1912 Gem Blue Star SE CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #353 Badger/Boar brush. I did two passes with the Damaskeene 1912 razor with a Gem Blue Star SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Decided to switch up my razor today Used my new flare tip, super nice shave. 3 pass on my cheeks to a bbs finish, 2 pass dfs on my neck with only a quick burn from the alum. This razor has a lot more blade feel compared to my teck, going to go back to my focus after this blade. Thursday morning: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/new 7 AM Gilly’s Nature Boy SS Every Man Jack Face Lotion Acqua di Selva Cologne A fabulous and very comfortable BBS shave thanks to the new 7 AM blade in my Super Speed. This Nature Boy from Gilly Soaps in South Africa has such a lovely scent - it’s a mix of chamomile and spearmint so it’s not only relaxing, it’s also refreshing. The lather works up so easily and it leaves a great postshave feeling. The Every Man Jack lotion is good but I don’t really care for the scent. Happy Valentines Day!
