Thanks, Charlie! Thank you, Clint! It is the prettiest razor in my rotation. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Decided to switch up my razor today Used my new flare tip, super nice shave. 3 pass on my cheeks to a bbs finish, 2 pass dfs on my neck with only a quick burn from the alum. This razor has a lot more blade feel compared to my teck, going to go back to my focus after this blade. SOTD February 14, 2019 Alphabetical journey through soaps and creams Letter S Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: Schick Razor: PAL Adjustable Brush: JR #60 synthetic Soap: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Sharp Dressed Man aftershave Continuing with Stirling. Went out of order by accident as today should have been Scots Pine Sheep. I'll correct it next time. The lather was outstanding and the PAL continues to provide a smooth experience. You have to keep the handle way down close to your face. The angle is like that of a Mach 3 which is against muscle memory at this point. I'm going back to a Schick tomorrow just to keep that angle in mind. We are sending Wilson to my parents for the night and we are going to a nice multi-course dinner with beverage pairings. Then tomorrow is just teacher meetings as the students have a four-day weekend. We have Monday off and are driving down to Destin, Florida after the meetings tomorrow (which usually get out early). Looking forward to all of it! Have a great day!
Great shave, Charlie! What a wonderful service you are doing today for those teachers and staff. February is a hard month in education. Most discipline problems across the board are in February. It's dark, it's cold, the routine has bogged down somewhat, and the kids get antsy. We all need encouragement from time to time. Thanks for doing that!
February 14 SOTD: Razor: Gillette Fatboy Blade: Gillette Spoiler Brush: Ever-Ready 150 Lather: Arko Aftershave: Fine L'Orange Noir (Sample) Additional Care: Stirling Unscented PSB My focus on the Fatboy continues. It has been smooth and easy, and I have enjoyed this month so far. More importantly for today, 19 years ago today, I made one of the best, if maybe most adventurous decision of my life. This was the day my bride and I got married last minute while leaving Las Vegas. I am still not sure why she ever agreed, but we are still married today, have 4 terrific kids, and our marriage continues to get better with each day. I hope everyone has a great day; I know I will!
Brian, You are good to go as long as no one does a Sammy Davis impersonation singing the Candy Man. Lol!
