If I may suggest a bit more attention to skin stretching. It helps the whiskers stand up a bit so the primary passes are better. I got in the practice of limiting how much I went over given areas to limit irritation. Comfortable finish was and is always my goal. Be well!
I’m caught up with you guys again Connecting flight delayed. I’m stuck in Denver until Midnight and won’t walk into my house until 3am. You just might not see a shave report from me tomorrow Have fun!

Thanks Patrick! Awesome vids Charlie. Thanks for posting these! Great pic! What filter effect are you using for that? Thanks Andrew! Awesome Pic Andrew! Love those handles. Congrats on finishing the first soap that got you started! Haha...Been there way too often! Thank god for Global Entry.
Good morning/evening Gents! Realized for me that nighttime shaving is much easier as I hate the need to rush in the morning. So here is my latest nighttime shave experience: Razor: Merkur 23C Blade: Shark Super Chrome Preshave: Lather: Tabac Brush: Synbad Synthetic brush Postshave: Alum, Pacific Shaving Company Caffeinated aftershave Another great shave! Tried out a sample of Tabac today that I received from @RyX . The lather, cushion, and glide were awesome. Tabac like Arko seems to lather like a beast. In some ways it produces even thicker and slicker lather. Though that just could be me getting the hang of getting the water content right these days. The alum stung a little bit in some areas but was still pretty mild. Also good post shave feel as well. The only thing about the Tabac though is the smell...I'm not sure it's a smell I like. The Route barbershop Hop smell was one I liked very much but this one felt a bit too strong in some ways. Still overall from a performance standpoint I do like the soap. I'll have to do a few more shaves with it to see if it's a smell I can get used to...Happy shaves everyone!
the scent was odd at first to me but it grew on me. now i love it..i hope it finds a place for you..one of the last great old school soaps around..
