    Great looking shave, Andrew! You are tempting me with some Pineapple Bay Rum. I would agree, the CK1 base is pretty good, and the CK6 isn't a huge improvement. It lathers a bit easier, IMO, and the post shave feel is better, but the CK1 base is a good performer. If I get more soap anytime soon (you aren't helping) I don't know that I will pay the extra for the CK6 or not.

    Thank you Jim! I'm guessing PAA with phase out the CK-1 base sooner or later. I start to shy away from soaps when they get over $4 an ounce.

    Many have found a little alum on the fingertips adds some grippiness.
