Delayed Valentine's Day Shave (my wife and I both worked and I didn't get home until after 1am) Tough to see, but I used the bakelite Merkur 45c on a black anodized WCS handle considering the red theme. Nice smooth shave but I think the blade is near the end of its life. My wife likes the scent of the Clubman hence me using that after shave lotion. It is a lovely knot 22 x 47. I also have its close relation the 2223 which has a slightly smaller handle and is 22 x 50. When I want a treat.....I use a New Forest!
Saturday 16th February La Toja Magno Soap Proraso Sensitive Preshave Arran Lochranza Shaving Soap Semogue 2012 SE Badger/Boar Brush PAA Bakelite Razor with a Gillette Super Thin Platinum Alum and Rinse Simple Facial Toner Palmer's for Men Moisturiser Pitralon Classic AS Well....what an enjoyable shave that was! My first use of the Arran Lochranza shaving soap. It's a good shaving soap....lathers well with good protection although the post shave feel may be slightly lacking....but what a scent. I think a bottle of the matching EDT may soon be on order. 3 passes and I am well and truly set for the day. It's amazing how scent can influence your frame of mind!
