  8. Thank you, Joe! I bet you'll be happy with Stirling. If you look only amongst artisans, they have got to be about the best shave soap value out there. Excellent performance, nice scents, and a great price.

    Speick Shave Cream

Early evening shower and shave for me. The little synthetic brush whipped up the Speick cream into a rich slick lather. Two passes ended in another BBS shave. Taking Asha out for dinner. She is trying to decide between Thai and Mexican. I hope everyone had a great day.

  11. Go big or go home! The MMOC (or OCMM for the purists) would be my first choice. It will bite but it is a fantastic shaver.
  12. Another cold shave. It really makes a difference for me, in terms of less redness and irritation. I’m not using any pre-shave anymore either. I figure if all that hot water and steam were softening my stubble to the point the hairs were laying down and less cut-able, then that’s exactly what the pre-shave does as well. I’d bought some fancy Omega too, so we’ll see if I stick to that.

Merkur 34c with Yellow 7 o’clock (3rd), Stirling Executive Man soap, alum, WH, Trumpers Lime skin food and Oglalla Bay Rum Lime and Peppercorn. DFS.

Now gentlemen, a question. Where might I find a razor handle that I can use with my Stirling aggressive razor head (it’s 2 pieces, so I guess with the handle that’s the “3” in a 3 pc. Razor? Newb asking).

I’d like to try something more aggressive, but I can’t use the head I bought on my Merkur (silly me, assuming I could).

Took the Gbar for a lap around my head and the MMCP on my face. The Surrey with 3 band synth lathered the TOBS sandalwood beautifully. Used Gem SS blade, a splash of WH and the Stetson for a perfect finish. Off to watch the Leafs beat the Coyotes on TV. Enjoy your night.
  14. Gary, I also enjoy seeing your models. The are a very cool addition to your SOTD photos.

RazoRock 400 Noir Plissoft Synthetic Shaving Brush
    Halleluiah Pottery Shaving Bowl 1995
    Williams Mug Soap
    CVS SE Blade
1912 Gem on a Weber Bulldog Handle
    Nivea Post Balm
    Pinuad Clubman Classic

Quick shower and shave this afternoon before I run a few errands in town. While I was out I stopped by the local Pig and picked up four pucks of Williams. You can never have to much Williams.

The Gem on the Weber Bulldog is a great combo and does a wonderful job. I just don't believe it can be beat. Nice comfortable shave with just a hint of alum. I completed two passes and cleaned up a few areas on the neck.

Finished up with some Nivea and Clubman classic.

Y'all take care and have a great weekend!
