I pick this JWest up cheap and failed on the first honing. Second time was a charm now it is a silent whisker ninja.

A couple of years ago, they could hardly give them away. I have a few, and they are usually pretty good shavers.

    Not Really sure
Had that debate with Mike Blue years back and he seemed to think it was much like other names we see that mean very little

    India Steel
    Silver Steel
    Magnetic
    Carbonized
    Manganese
    Etc Etc

Marketing back then was much more open and unregulated so many claims were not really accurate or meaningful

I think it means DFS :p

Sunday morning shave, C. V. Heljestrand MK33, soap was the always slick I Coloniali Mango Oil lathered with a Simpsons 57. I Coloniali balm finished up a lovely weekend shave.

    Yup, Sunday deliveries!

Wet shaving has certainly expanded my horizons for scents, however it will be difficult nudge Brut out of the top position in the MaxHeadroom list of Most Glorious Stanks. If only it lasted better.

    Be well!

Had my closest and smoothest shave of the Month .This blade worked flawlessly.I was shocked at how well the Sudsy Soapery Triple Cream performed for a vegan soap.Great stuff and smelled awesome .

This one required a lot of work - she still wears her blemishes proudly, but she delivers a very comfy shave.

The SR here is a circa 1920 German made Salamander with the ivoroid grained scales, my favorite. The edge was a progression on 3M films to 3 micron and then a coticule finish.

It's Micromatic Monday on another forum so, the 1958 GEM Push Button was used as well.
