  2. February 17th
    Razor: Timeless Bronze SB
Blade: Gillette 7:O'Clock Super Stainless (2)
    Brush: Grizzly Bay Constitution
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: PAA Clasico Bay Rum
    Stirling Bay Rum witch hazel
    PAA Star Jelly unscented
AS: Captain Smythe's Private Reserve Bay Rum with Leather

Wonderful three pass shave to start the day.

PAA Clasico Bay Rum today. This is in the pre CK1 base. I'm afraid that I may have given the impression that this base is less than adequate. Not true at all. Not at the level of performance of the CK1 or CK6, but a fine soap in it's own right. I have a soft spot for PAA products, as evidenced by the quantity I've accumulated. They were some of the first soaps I bought to start my wet shaving journey.

    Have a great Sunday! [IMG]

  4. Apparently I need to do a security sweep at HQ as I had decided last night to use a pain stick as my chosen razor for the soap review. That was a State secret - or so I thought. But I do like your title.

Thank you Joe. Keep in mind that when you think of a cigar smell, you most likely have the "burning" scent in your nose. That is not the case at all with this and most tobacco scents.
It isn't about scent strength, Paul. This one is just as strong, but doesn't include the nauseating aspect of the Local Gent Cigar Lounge.
