A couple of days worth of shaves. The star razor performed well and the soap is really nice. I really like this scent. The weishi razor is a very nice razor. Slight razor burn but I think the blade is a little dull

Thanks. Very cool to have such works of art in the den. BTW the scent and performance of the PR Ibla is outstanding. The turtle was a custom order and has special meaning for me; it is based on a story about the preciousness of Buddha's teachings.

Sunday SOTN As promised, more SE action. I ended up going for the ER-1914 over the others. I had previously only shaved with it a few times and wasn't sure what to think of it. The angle is slightly different than the normal Gems I'm used to. It seems as though the shave is much smoother if it is pretty much flush to your face. When I try to sharpen the angle any further, the shave definitely becomes rougher. The tabac provided ample slickness as usual - I had quite a bit extra left over (still laying in the Turkish bowl lol). Overall, a very fine shave with just one weeper next to my Adam's apple. Very pleased. I may use the 1914 again tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great first part of the week! Cheers. Josh Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
February Favorites!! February 17 - Moon Soap Review #1 Razor - Feather DX Pain Stick Blade - Soap - Moon Old School Tallow Shave Soap Brush - Jayaruh #54 Post - Alum A fairly busy day today so it was nice to get home tonight and spend some extra time on a soap review. I chose the Feather DX and Pro blade to help me out with the soap and the JR54 is the first brush up in what will be four days of trials with different brushes. I won't go into great detail here as I am doing a complete review each day over in the soaps thread. You can get all of the gory details HERE! Hope you had a great Sunday. I'm working tomorrow since it's a sale weekend, not that you can tell from the store traffic. Been a bit underwhelming. For those of you off tomorrow with the holiday ENJOY!! For the rest of the working stiffs - make it a GREAT MONDAY!
