Another very nice shave with the MonoBilt earlier this morning. Got a good lather in the end, but had to work at it a bit today for whatever reason. 2 1/2 easy passes, love this razor. Matched the two Terre d'Hermes dupes again. My nose isn't the best at detecting notes, but I do think the Fine has more smokiness to the citrus than the Arkadia. It has become a true favourite over time, but the Arkadia is nice as well.

    Have a great day, all!

Beautiful photo, Jason! Glad to hear your comparisons of the Fine to the Stirling dupes. I had an Arkadia sample once and thought it was wonderful. Haven't tried L'Orange Noir yet.

Well, now my turn to deal with a bit of a cold. I already have my Zicam lozenges(yes, you can get 'em in lozenges now). The energy goes down some, but I'll still be shaving.

What a beaut! Chris at Razorplate did the replate on the MonoBilt I've used all week as well. He did a fantastic job.
Another new PAA combo, Jim? I'm still loving that Lemon Drop as well.
A very nice photo indeed, Perry. That Hussy looks like it has been polished up very well. Congrats on the new soap, it sounds like a winner. I guess they are right there in Alabama too.
Great effect again, Jim! I can tell by the label that Gatlinburg isn't a favourite- it would never have lasted that many years if it was!
Sounds like a very productive week, Charlie. Looking forward to finished shots of your house!
Congrats on the new brush, Clint. People seem to speak very highly of the Alphas.
Enjoy Chicago, Brian! I believe Perry found a very good shaving store there...
If SWMBO liked it, it is already worlds ahead of the Veg, Joseph.
If that is a regular height street sign, Doug, that is certainly a lot of snow! Another great shot.

Thanks Andrew.....what is it with that babysitter of yours...sends a cold disease from Colorado to Massachusetts(teasing lol). I, too, didn't have a sore throat first. Went right to the nasal cavities. My sister introduced me to Zicam.....good stuff.

    EDRIO #25 RazoRock Wunderbar
    Schick Plus Platinum (3)
WWBW Jungle Ebonite (26mm, Frigate Class)
Stirling Iced Pineapple soap and AS
    Stirling Glacial Unscented PSB

Decided to go with a favorites setup today. Stirling Iced Pineapple. The number 1 scent in my den. Doesn't get used enough because I have way too many soaps. When I do use it though it brings a smile to my face and a bounce to my step.

The RazoRock Wunderbar is probably the most aggressive razor that RazoRock ever produced. Keep a light touch and let the heavy stainless steel slant do it job and you will be rewarded with an effortless BBS shave. And that's what I got after 3 passes. I finished with a dab of Glacial Unscented PSB followed by a generous spray of Iced Pineapple AS. My face is smooth and feeling great. Have a great day everyone!

Hump day!! (Though I haven't been to work this week as of yet)
