  1. I met him at a bar years ago. He was a nice guy. It is the first time I heard his real voice. He could have been an announcer or host a radio show.
  2. Nice picture, Robert!
  3. Shave #2 today with the same equipment. Viking Godfather, Personna, Williams, and Clubman. No sophomore jinx, but I did notice a little irritation spot after I was all done and throughout the day. It didn't burn even with the AS. I probably got a bit careless since the first shave was so effortless and perfect.

Got a bottle of Master Bay Rum from Amazon in the mail. Scent seemed much milder and lighter than I was expecting / hoping. We'll see.

  4. Put a cannoli in front of me and there goes my willpower.
  5. Carl, great report!
  6. Thanks, Joe.
Douglas Carey, 9nein9, brit and 5 others like this.
  7. The hard part would be how to haul them home. You would definitely need a long bed pickup for sure. I don’t know if they still do that pizza anymore
  8. Great shave report and congrats on the continued progress.
  9. Thank you, Jim.
  10. Me too! :)
  11. Charlie, glad your wife is doing better. I am sure that little boy really appreciated you and had a smile on his face. One of the things that the good Lord told me was to make someone smile every day. It is so simple, but profound. I don't know what is going on in the lives of strangers that I encounter, but making them smile just might make their day better. So, I am glad you did the same thing for that boy.
  12. I’m pretty good on eBay, Joe. A few knots here and there and two bulk blade purchases is all I’ve gotten on the ‘bay in the past two years. My first couple vintages in late 2016 were my last razor purchases on there.
  13. Thanks, Perry. I got their GIT dupe, ‘Irish Countryside’. It is the tallow and lanolin formula and was cheap enough to take a flier on. I loved Stirling’s SDM version, but I am one of those folks who gets a bit of irritation from it.
I have an almost full ‘cartridge’ of Feather Pros to go through before I give Andrew a call!
  14. You had another great shave, Jason!
  15. Drink plenty of fluids. Hot tea with honey is good for you. Hope you feel better, Paul.
  16. Joe, thanks for the kind words and encouragement. You live by a very good rule, my friend.
  17. I'm not sure anymore. In November, it was 20. Since then I've PIF'd a couple and sold one. I've also bought probably three complete ones and some extra odd bits.

Call it 25, give or take a couple. Most are fairly common versions in user-grade condition. Some are little more than Tech parts screwed together into a razor.
  18. You got a happy kid, Andrew!

  20. I've learned a lot about the Techs from your posts. Thanks again for taking the time.
