Maiden voyage for my newly acquired John & Wm Ragg Napoleon. Lovely all the way around. Nice double jimps, sharp and smooth, easy to maneuver in all the difficult places, and dressed up in ivory. A keeper for sure. A special shout out for the Castle & Forbes Lavender. It’s one of the first shaving creams I bought and I’ve been rationing it over the years. Excellent lather and aroma but it’s almost gone - now I just need to find a sale. Even though I favor modern razors those are two very cool razors. Now that is a classic combo, something seem so right about Eau Sauvage, the brush and the Heljestrand.
